About the Programme
Supported by training from the NFU Farmers for Schools programme, our initiative gives students access to voices from modern farming and invites your students to an open conversation about agriculture in the Isle of Man.
We are offering you the opportunity to have engaging, enthusiastic speakers join your school in person or virtually to spark discussion and broaden career options, as part of an interactive assembly or group discussion.
Our NFU‑trained Farming Ambassadors can deliver an informative presentation from a real farmer and run a lively Q&A session. Depending on your requirements we can also deliver different presentations and sessions including virtual presentations and other resources suitable for all key stages. Content will be engaging and thought‑provoking throughout.
Farmers for Schools is also available for primary schools, and in‑person visits and excursions can be arranged, including the well‑established Countryside Code Project.
